I would recommend a good Swiss watch over a Japanese watch anyday. The Swiss
are known for their excellent mechanical watches. The Japanese are known for
Seiko and Casio electronic watches.

Dunno, never seen one, they're not imported to the US. The only one I
found available for sale is on Ebay. I suppose they're very good, they
look nicely finished. $3500+ seems like a lot of money for a plain
looking stainless steel, white dial, manual wind, time only watch. For
that kind of money you could find a nice vintage 18k Vacheron.
