Wow. Anyone who posts here regularly knows about the issues with MA, the crap it sells and the shady, criminal past of its owner, and it surprises me that you all would feed the troll like you have. Shame on you. :-)

Hi robert. Hopefully you will find this to be more of a neutral view..
The first MA watches were not finely finished and had high retail
prices. Those were manufactured something like 7 years ago. They
eventually got into producing some very high end custom watches and
they have some very good pictures on their website at
http://www.montresallison.net/ensvizzengarten of their equipment. You
can see many of their custom watches and many of the components like
18k cases just after casting them on
http://www.montresallison.com/maforum.
The owner used to own a watch forum called watchzone.net and got into
some big, big arguments and name calling with owners of other forums
like tz, etc. and since then most forums have banned any positive
comments about the brand.
The truth is that MA watches warrant another look - if you can get past
their seedy beginning. They have posted some interesting engineering
drawings on the web as well.
To compare what they do with cheap chinese quality is silly and
immature or possibly just plain ignorant. I suggest that the guy who
said that take a look at their website and many of the press articles
available on the web talking about them making many of their own
components in the US.
That review that you saw there with the silicone inside the watch was
done by one of the proprietor's former friends/current enemies and he
conveniently didn't disclose that on another forum the guy who had the
watch before him lost a screw and used his own silicone to seal the
watch. MA watches don't have silicone haphazardly used in place of
screws and gaskets.
Here is an interesting negative shot at Rolex:

You can find negative comments on many of the brands on the market. It
more or less matters what your personal opinion is.
