"Anthony Fremont"
One of the $5 watches I picked up in the past was a Seiko 5 with the
lightweight bracelet, a blue dial, and a severely damaged yet faceted
crystal. Granted it looks to have had a hard life, but it surely isn't
all that old. Currently it runs only intermittently, but I haven't had
time yet to open it up to see what the problem(s) might be. If I don't
get flooded today, I might take it apart tonite for a good look.
A little off topic, but I forget the topic. Some Seikos that run
intermittently have weak torque from the mainspring. You may be able to
remove and clean or replace as a unit depending on the model.
