I'm not familiar with the movement, but couldn't you make up a clip ?

Hi, well I am in the trade and it is also my watch. The clip has broken
through wear - not from dismantling. I have asked most of my collegues
in Hatton Garden for the said such part and to date are at the same
conclusion as you. So I decided to put my feelers out further :)
As you say only having dealt with 2 in 35 years - the lack of
availablity of this calibre, second hand, indicates it's small
production run and robustness :) Beautiful construction though for the
late 60's early 70's for ladies watches that were rectangular.
Im still looking.... regards Tom
ok, try some of the suppliers in the States and see they are any
cheaper, my supplier Smith & Smith <sales(AT)smithnsmith.com.au> might
have it, change the (AT) for @.
yes it is a nice movement, well finished, typical of Omega when they
still made their own movements.
I think the reason you don't see many is because most of them went into
expensive gold or platinum cases, dress watches that would not be worn
all the time.
Thanks for the supplier details - I've just sent them a mail.
Yes, the watch I have is a dress 9ct case with milanese style gold
bracelet and clasp fittings, approx. 35g, worn once maybe every 5
years. It has been serviced nearly as many times as it has been worn ;)
I have used a second hand to create a small clip once when i was
desperate. Pulled the pipe off, slit the circle and it was as good as
gold. Of course i have no idea how small that clip is on the 730, so
YMMV. Still, it's an idea. :)

Hmm, it did cross my mind to make one up out of wire - but that's not
the proper way to do it ;) Thanks for the suggestion...regards Tom
