Lest the rest of you think that Chris was overpaying, 1HK$ = 13 cents US.
There's really no limit on the number of watches you may own, except maybe
that imposed by your spouse. Personally I dislike bicolor and plated
watches, but that's all according to taste.
I don't think Rolex invented the turning bezel , though they are identified
with it. I find a turning bezel to be useful for timing events - parking
meter expirations, etc. even though I don't scuba dive. If others confuse
your Seiko with a Rolex, that's their problem, not yours.

Now I face a slight dilemma. How many Seiko 5's does it take to furnish
your wardrobe?
I have always detested all watches with a bezel in the style of Rolex.
However, I admit to trying on a rather pleasant Seiko with a 5 piece
silver
(possibly white gold plate) bracelet with 2 inner gold links.
Here I wish to obtain a general feedback from the group.
Should one consider the Rolex style bezel as just being a pleasant
decoration or should it be considered as a poor attempt to imitate?
If it is considered imitation, then obviously it is in rather poor taste
and
only cheapens the otherwise acceptable image of the model 5. I would like
to hear others opinions on this.

Greetings:
I recently saw (on eBay) a watch advertised as a Seiko 5 Superior Gold
with model number SKZ058. I can not locate any such thing on any Seiko
sites or dealers. Anyone have any info on this watch, or is it fugazy?
Thanks,
OFG
yes they exist, usually fitted with the 23jewelled japanese made 7S36
movement, which is basically the same as the 21j 7S26

these 2 ebay dealers I have bought from and find they are quite good
http://stores.ebay.com.au/WATCHES-LIMITED
http://stores.ebay.com.au/Premierworld
Watches59 is ok too from what I hear.
these models are mostly Asian, so you won't normally see them on the
Seiko sites, but they are made and sold by Seiko, they are not fakes,
the dealers mentioned above do sell the real ones, there have been a
couple of low volume chinese sellers that sell fake or suspect seikos,
so I would avoid them.
