Again, far be it from me to enourage someone to tinker with a good watch, but if it were mine I'd crank the etachron to the 3rd (last)minus mark right now and see what happens. Not much to lose if you are careful and you seem to know your way around the inside of a watch enough to do that much.Oh, yes. I've regulated other watches using the main regulator, because you could get to them. I've no problem with the etachron, providing I don't have morning-after bourbon shakes. ;=}}
I'll still wait a bit. Maybe it will settle. If I want the exact time, I can always look at one of my quartz watches.
