Well, it depends on what you are looking for a from a $2,500 watch. If
you are looking for superb time keeping and good looks then go for a
Seiko or Citizen and save a bunch of money. For about $250.00 you can
get a Seiko Sportura with the digital/analog display that is pretty
darned readable...and good looking.
If on he other hand you are loooking for superb timekeeping and like
the look of Breitling Aerospace watches (they are nice) and you like
wearing the Breitling brand and are willing to pay for it then go
ahead.
If you feel that you are paying 5x what the watch is worth, then
clearly you are over paying. (There are no coldly logical reasons for
spending that much money on a watch, but the emotional reasons sure are
a lot of fun)
