Re: Effect of weather on reception of WWV

I got an interesting comparison over the Thanksgiving hoilday which
suggests it's our "Anacortes Black Hole" that's giving me the grief.

We were staying at our daughter's house in Lacey, WA. Since we were
sleeping in the living room and didn't have bedside clock, I kept my
Casio on in bed. The room had a south-facing window, but it was some
distance from the Murphy bed. I was amazed to find the next morning
that the watch had picked up a full sync signal. It obviously wasn't
affected by the crappy weather either!

It had gone almost two weeks at home, being put out every night,
properly lined up SSE and not being moved from midnight to 06:30,
without getting even a time set.
