Citizen Calibre 8651 Questions

One who I'll be purchasing a Christmas gift for has decided that he
likes the look of the Citizen 8651. I'm curious as to what experience
folks have with Citizen's Eco Drive watches. Accuracy, realistic
battery cell life, battery cell replacement costs et cetera. FWIW the
intendee typically wears Omega watches.
