Though i was going to suggest something a bit safer :
Tell her that your current watch clashes with all her shoes, so she
should go out and buy a new pair, then you could walk over to the
jewellery shop and match up a nice watch to it, while she picks out a
nice pair of earrings..
Could end up an expensive watch, but much cheaper than a divorce. ;-)
