I use FVWM2 (Linux) so I can just put interesting images in a dir,
point xv (image viewer) at that dir, set it to print on the root window, and
wa-laaa. Wallpaper. So then I went to one of the many pocket watch sites,
captured a suitable image, 'blew it up' to full screen size (with xv), and
put it in that dir. I've an image of a Ball Hamilton, a Waltham with up/dn
indicator, and the "do you crave watches?" poster, and can swop between any
of these wallpaper images at the click of a mouse.
I don't use any watch screensavers, though I do note xscreensaver
(a Linux pgm) has several clock type modes that show the system time in a
variety of ways (digital and analogue).
