Anyone make lefthanded (for the right hand) watches?

I prefer wearing a watch on the right wrist but the little dials are
always on the inside instead of the right of the case, which makes it a
tad awkward sometimes. Anyone make watches that address this? Why are
watches generally worn on the left wrist anyway?
