I've never seen a female customer in there, though. It's a guy
place, for sure.
Hint: Leave a coupon for HF on her sewing machine.
I just looked through the latest catalog. There's not much in it
that would appeal to her. Or many women. What do you suggest
would be useful to her?

I have bought her HF tools - screwdrivers, ploiers, etc so that mine
do not get damaged by mis-use (screwdriver for a pry bar, etc)
Freshly sharpened wood chisel as screwdriver . . . (-:
I also keep HF tools around as loaners to neighbors who have also
shown in the past they don't know the correct use of hand tools and a
few power tools as well. I keep them in a tool box that is easily
seen when one enters my garage. I call it my loaner box.
I only lend tools if I come with them and leave with them. I hate being a
hard ass but I hate getting back a ruined tool even more. Or not getting it
back at all. But it's something to consider. I didn't see much of anything
that would impress my wife at HF. I'm the DIY'er here. She's the
occasional "keep your finger here" and "shine the light there" person. (-:

HF is the greatest source I know of for loaner tools. ^_^
