noisy door

My flat has a heavy security door. While it opens silenty,
it gives a very high and loud squeak when closing, disturbing
not only me but my neighbours as well.

Oiling and greasing has not helped. A carpenter discouraged
me strongly from touching the hinges. I suggested the
cylinders in the hinges should be taken out one by one,
cleaned and re-inserted. He was not happy about that and
wanted to think about the problem. Three weeks and three
phone calls later, he is still thinking.

Any suggestion about possible causes and possible remedies?
