For example: My late father once went a Communist Party meeting, while
at Cambridge University in the 1920s; wasn't impressed and declined
an invitation to join!. Do you think anyone would later label him a
Communist because he once went to a meeting.
That's bout as about as stupid as saying that George Bush is a Hindu
or a Mennonite, or a 'Come again, one more time' Christian something
or other.
Americans generally have got themselves and the rest of the world into
quite a pickle; by so much credit buying and wasteful consumer
spending. Your new president has inherited quite a mess including a
world wide distaste for American policies abroad.
However from outside the USA we wish you well and all the best for the
future.
