All these morons driving around with their "driving" lights on, looking
like
they are on bright to an oncoming car. I have these on my truck, and
when I
turn them on, all I can see better is ten feet in front of my bumper,
and it
lights up the guard rails really good. Trouble is, I like to look
farther
ahead than that and very little to the side.
I thought these were for fog conditions, and other driving than fifty
mile
visibility clear situations. It's annoying. Am I missing something?
Or is
this a "LOOK AT ME EVERYONE. I'VE GOT A SMALL PENIS AND AM
COMPENSATING BY
HAVING BIG LIGHTS!"?
Steve
I don't get a lot of things that drivers do, and this is why: I don't
know anyone who isn't annoyed to the point of rage with tailgaters,
obscenely bright lights, people who deliberately blast past 100 cars
waiting in a turn lane or exit lane and then cut in at the last second,
etc. ad infinitum.
So if everyone hates those assholes, who are they? I tend to refrain
from behavior that annoys me in others. Is that so damn hard to figure
out? I'd be happy if they made it about 100 times harder to get a
license, and 100 times easier to lose it.
If they'd just ban automatic transmissions, raise the basic license test
to the equivalent of a commercial class B and have something like 5yr
retests, that would likely resolve a large percentage of the problems.
But, how would one use a cell phone and drive a stick shift car,
I've never had a problem in my truck. Hands free certainly works fine,
as does the classic shoulder wedge.
I hear
someone howling in the back row. Driver's licenses are already too hard, I
mean you have to read things and study, and even though they let you have
the book when you're taking the test, they don't actually circle the
answers!
Yea, there is that...
Nevada just had some basic changes regarding juveniles who just got their
licenses. Such civil rights invasive preposterous things as: not being
able to carry passengers for the first year....... maybe two. Not being
allowed to drive after midnight.
The problem is that those *are* invasive and penalize a large percentage
of the driving population for the irresponsible actions of a small
percentage of the driving population. Real testing in the licensing
process would solve the issues without being invasive.
Things aimed at young airheads to get them
through they pubertyhood and into the child producing years. Oh, wait.
That's only 16 now at the Spears household.
Yea, well, the trailer trash world has different standards it seems...
Never mind.
Pretty hopeless eh?
