Tuners for square neck Dobro

I want to do my second replacement of the tuners on my '70s square neck OEM Dobro. The org set was stripped so I replaced them with a standard set and they didn't hold up either. The tension and string gauge were too much for them. I could go down in string gauge but I really don't want to. So I need a heavy duty set of tuner.

The girl on the phone said they should be fine but I still wonder if they are up to the task.
Any suggestions? Should I try another group?
