Tuners for square neck Dobro

I want to do my second replacement of the tuners on my '70s square neck OEM Dobro. The org set was stripped so I replaced them with a standard set and they didn't hold up either. The tension and string gauge were too much for them. I could go down in string gauge but I really don't want to. So I need a heavy duty set of tuner.

Any suggestions? Should I try another group?

Don't forget to lubricate them, and I would install them with the knobs pointing upwards. ... I've never had a problem with tuners and high string tension, so maybe there is something wrong with the installation, eg the posts not at right angles or not supported well at the inner end? ...

The holes could be reamed using a drill bit held in a suitable handle - I use an old small electric drill chuck. ...
