And of course, what your ears love today will probably hate next month. Is there a name for this kind of curse?
Remember though...when you hate it all of a sudden...don't get rid of it. You'll love it again before too long.

Ain't that the truth! I too suffer from that. I'm whacking with
vintage stuff.

What I want to try.....
-OCD
-Boss BD-2<--- this I borrowed once and loved the smoothmess of it
-Dano Cool Cat Drive<--- this I saw a youtube shootout vs an OCD, it
was SCARY close, especially when you consider 20 bucks vs 145?
-Dirty Little Secret, forget who makes this
:-)
the dano cool cat drive version 1 is the one you're talking about.
it's about as close as an exact copy (tone and sounds - not looks)
to an OCD as you can get. it's excellent.
however the newer version 2 of the cool cat is completely different.
it's a lot bassier and warmer and doesn't even closely resemble the OCD.
Only the 1st version of the cool cat is the one to get. It has that pop
and presence that the OCD has - actually exactly like the OCD.- Hide quoted text -

Coolness! I was going to bag one if presented the chance, I'm glad you
cleared that up! V-1 it is.
I prefer to build and/or modify for what I what. But out of curiosity, is there a visual "tell" whether the Dano is a V1 or V2?
Does the Dano use MOSFETs?
