it needed a setup real bad, but now it's in tune and sounding

My Danno12 needs a truss rod adjustment at least twice a year. It's a
pain in the butte because you have to take the neck off the get at the
adjusting screw in the neck heel.
By the way, does your's neck have a very obvious join across its width
(parallel to the frets) midway down, at about the 7th fret? Mine does.
I've never seen a neck made like that. Doesn't seem to be a problem,
but it's odd.
mine's at the 3rd fret. odd, that is.
i need to find a hard shell case and was wondering about the
danelectro compressor?
I've been wanting a case since I got it. No standard case will fit it,
and the only place I've been able to find that has real Danelectro
cases for this model charges over $200 for them I didn't pay much more
than that for the guitar, so I haven't been able to bring myself to buy
it. The guitar continues to live in a gig bag.
I think a compressor is almost mandatory for this guitar, especially if
you switch between pickups - the neck pickup is quite a bit louder than
the bridge and I haven't been able to mitigate that much by adjusting
their heights.
which compressor do you use. i seen that some like the janglebox, but i
don't play often enough to reckon that option.
