Richards is good as a rhythm guy. You can't deny some of those riffs.. For lead
guys... I never got Beck.... I know those are fighting words, but I've gotten
most
of his albums just trying to hear it (even 'Who Else?') and I just don't.

He's okay - but, he's no Pat Travers to me..


well, I guess I'm the opposite. the Jeff Beck concert I saw this
summer was one of the greatest displays of guitar artistry I've even
witnessed, and once in Florida I saw Pat Travers drunkenly crash a
benefit concert and stink the place up with some really shitty
playing.


I won't dispute any of these claims :) Travers' substance abuse has derailed
his whole career..
