Anyone have issues with Soundclick? Last couple of times I've been
on, if the page is left on for a while, it grinds my computer
almost to a halt. Once I manage to X-out that browser tab,
everything start to move again.

Whoever the webmaster is over there, they must really like
clugey...it's never been the smoothest of websites IMO. Not to
mention it being a breeding ground for pop-ups.

Anyone else seen this?

Overall, so far, I'd say it's pretty damn good site. The ad's keep
it free. I believe there is a pay option if you don't want ads.

Jim

It's not the ads on the site itself, I can live with that.  I mean
the annoying popups.  I don't know, maybe those go away with the pay
option.  I seem to recall they were still coming up when I did pay
for the upgrade a while back.

But my biggest problem is that the site slows my computer down.

I'm not sure what you mean by pop-up. I just get the ads that are
contained in the web page. You might try a different browser. Most of
the time I use Google Chrome. Could be a regional thing too.

The only problem I have is a dialog box says you can edit while
uploading and everytime I tried the program crashed. No biggie. I have
trouble navagating with all the social network sites. Seems to me they
are programmed by idiots. I hate Facebook and refuse to use it.

Like Les says you may need to get your system cleaned up. Check for
updates and spyware etc...

Jim

Yeah... no pop ups for me either. Maybe we have our browsers set up for
No Popups.

That's it...I had my browser set to "Please Annihilate Me With Popups"!

I'm shittin' ya...my Firefox is set on no popups as well. For some
reason, it doesn't work with Soundclick, or the Boston Globe.

Or Opera http://www.opera.com/
