What you mean, "fat"? You mean thick like an LP neck, or wide like an
SG neck? Both are soooo subjective. I like the wide SG necks. OTOH,
I hate the fat LP necks, despite my Yammy acoustic neck being very
LPish. Despite all that, I sold my strat and kept my Aria for the
fast, slim, thin neck alone! Go figure. Bottom line, if it feels
good, play it! ;)

SG neck widths depend on when they're made. My '66 SG has a very narrow neck.
