I mean - I went to college - and graduated - but, I was listening
to Judas Priest and Van Halen in the 80's :)

For some reason - I used to confuse U2 and The Cult all the
time... To me, The Cult are Gods compared to U2....

That list makes little sense to me. Actually, I never heard the term
"college rock" until it got mentioned here. It seems like a pretty
flimsy excuse for a genre. I mean, how are, say, Devo and John Hyatt
anything alike?

I actually like lots of the bands on this list. Not that that I
necessarily have records by all of them, but I've heard enough that I
think I get their general gist.

I whittled it down to 50. You can tell from this that I'm not much into
metal:
