Is a good question. I only have ever done the opposite, that is, I
just plug my acoustic/electric into whatever amp I'm using, and it
would never have been an acoustic amp. So that's how I ended up using
Ovations, they amplify superbly that way.
Good luck with it. I can definitely understand trying to just use
one.
