OT: need help for blues/rock music suggestions

I need to hear some new music and I am leaning towards something of the
blues/rock type genre. I have been enjoying the following artists lately:
- Rory Gallagher (prefer Live In Europe to Irish Tour)
- Hendrix - more the bluesy/funky stuff than the trippy psychadelic
(spelling?) tunes
- SRV - more Scuttle Buttin, less of the sentimental stuff
- Clapton with Bluesbreakers, Cream and Derek & the Dominos
I tried Blow By Blow by Jeff Beck but just couldn't get into the jazziness
(?) of it. Perhaps early Beck might be a better move? Also, I like Tommy
Bolin's two solo albums, plus the work he did with Deep Purple. Of course I
love Led Zep and Deep Purple but I've listened those bands to death over the
last 20 years or so.
I sampled some Joe Bonamassa but he kind of sounds a little bit...I dunno,
just not the real deal. I could be wrong. Similarly, I have a few of the
Gary Moore blues albums but there is something missing there. Awesome tone,
brilliant technique, but is it good blues?
Any suggestions for me?
Brett
