I finally got to play one at the local today. Its freaking buttah. The
action was about bang on, nice and low with no fret out. Comfortable and
fast action.

I'm stunned how good this thing was. I played a CV 50's and it was nowhere
near as good, still a good guitar tho.

I'm gassing so hard now, its not funny. Oh, and the pups actually sound
very good. Neck pup is a absolute cracker. I had thought that if I buy it,
I'd keep it stock. But the control plate is a little thin.....

10/10 for Squier. I'd imagine in another 20 years these will be sought
after like SQ's, JV's and Pro tones....

GAS, GAS, GAS, GAS, GAS........

I really wanted to try some of those CVs but my wife talked me out of buying
a Squire. "You're always going to know it's not a Fender." She's probably
right.

I did play a couple of Squires but I wasn't as impressed as I thought I
should be . Maybe too much hype. Or I just don't want to buy a guitar I have
to take to a luthier and get the frets straightened out, buy new pups, new
pots, and end up spending as much as if I would of bought the Fender in the
first place.

I think Squires are for guys who like to buy cheap guitars and fix them up.
Nothing wrong with that.

Hope I didn't get anyone's nose out-of-whack. Just my narrow minded opinion.
