I take a drill to mine as soon as I get the bridge where I want it,
drill out the string holes to match up to the bridge.  I am afraid all
my sweet upper mid range punch and thick low end and chimey highs will
leak out the back without the cover on.

Take it off and release the raw tone, instead of keeping it trappen in
a plasic box . e
