You know, I've been playing the guitar a stupid long time now, and
I've had...tens of strats. I've never lost the back cover. I just
don't know how people lose the back cover. How did you lose the back
cover?

I always take mine off. I still have the back cover off my old 40th anv that
got stolen. A lot of people do it. Makes them sound a whole lot different
<g>.
Then they get lost. They make good coasters. The logical thing to do is put
them in the case but that's probably why I never do it. Why do you think
Fender stopped putting the ash-trays on? They were just extra crap everybody
lost.
