But my complaint with GC is that they advertised over "GC radio" (the
store PA) that they ship used gear from other stores, without even
mentioning that it had to be purchased (including tax and shipping) in
advance. At the very least, I consider this deceptive, in light of the
policies of other stores (specifically Daddy's).
Someone asked if I was a "serious buyer". In this particular case, no.
The amp in question was a Marshall Lead 100 MOSFET. I liked the demos
I saw on YouTube. I just wanted to hear a real one - plug something
similar to my SG into it and hear for myself. If I could find one
locally, I'd do that.
Do I want to pay $250 - $300 without trying it first? Hell no.
