Headphone amp revisited

The Pandora PX4 is playing up and seems unrepairable. Because it was so cheap, I will only get a refund on it, not a replacement. I'm not willing to pay the asking price a for new one here in Oz, and there are export sales restrictions on buying one from the US. Cutting to the chase, is there any reason not to buy a Pocket Pod Express? The only FX I really want are amp and reverb, plus the ability to record from it. Compression would be nice, but I guess I can always put pedals in front of it if need be.
