You must look for different things in a drummer than I do. Judging from
the few existing recordings of Best, he was utterly conventional, a
total follower who could not drive the music or interact with the other
players, and worst of all... boring.
This is exactly what the book I'm reading, says Martin and the EMI guys
said about him. I dont believe I've ever heard Best play.
