Ah, so. That's a complicated timeline.

I've heard the Monterey Pop performance, and it's not very good. They
sound very unrehearsed.

I've probably told the story before, but my first rock concert was
Buffalo Springfield at the local high school. It warped me for life.
Recently a recording of that very show surfaced, after all these years!
The sound quality is pretty rough, but I think the performance is
great! Here 'tis:
