Gibson Les Paul Robot

Does anyone have any opinions on this model? The local Guitar Center
has a new Silverburst for $999, which is $2000 or so off of list
price. It looks great and plays fine, but I am leery of the auto
tuner. But, it may be my only chance to own a Gibson for under $1000.
