I've tried Nanowebs on all my guitars. I run them exclusively on my
Taylor acoustic. They're some of the brightest, most lively and
long lived strings on the planet in my opinion.
On my electrics (Strats and Epi LP's) what can I say... Nanowebs
sound fine, but I've been a GHS Boomer guy for over 2 decades. ;)
Huh, go figure...I never tried them on my acoustics, but on my
electrics, I don't get that pick-on-string scraping sound as I do with
uncoated wound strings. My playing tends to be pretty percussive, so
that's why I find them on the lifeless side. Plus, I rarely break
strings for whatever reason, so the extra cost for the extended life
is a waste. I too stick with Boomers.

The extra life we're talking about isn't time till breakage, it's time until
dead sounding.
