Yep. It's good stuff. But I wonder, how often does anyone twiddle
knobs while playing? I have a "set-it-and-forget-it" approach to amps
and effects. I just make sure everything is dialed in before a gig
starts, then never touch it. So scratchy pots wouldn't really be a
problem.
The exception would be the tone and volume knobs on myguitar. I do
adjust them ocassionally.

Have you ever tried to look at the back of the tone and volume
"knobs"? Usually there is a small opening in which you can spray
contact cleaner. It usually requires removing the strings and
pickguard (depending on your model of guitar).
