Anyone who says Zappa wasn't a great guitar player, let along musical

Or, they lived through that time, heard most of it, just didn't like
it. I never thought he was the bomb, never will. I wouldn't say he
sux, but I wouldn't even put him in my top 50 guitar players. Musical
Genius? Different for the sake of being different is more like it. To
me.
Lest we forget, he was once a
guest conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic (or is it Symphony) with
Zubin Mehta (I have a bootleg album of this) and a guest conductor of (I
believe, I can't exactly remember which Germanic country) the Austrian
Symphony, both of whom played his music.
I never read the bona fides of anyones music I like, and I don't think
anyone else does. There are quite literally millions of Great Guitar
Players and Musical Geniuses that have NOT done any of the above.
I've got almost every album he put out, saw him three times in concert, and his stuff still makes me go "WOW!"
I am glad, we all like what we like. Lest we forget, there was this
little pile of stool film, something about motels. Awful. Truly.
