I bought my first ever valve amp - the Orange Tiny Terror combo. As some of
you will probably know, it only has three controls - volume, tone and gain.
The thing is, if I turn the gain completely down, I don't get any sound,
even if the amp volume and guitar volume are on max. Actually I need to put
the gain up to about three before I get any sound at all.
It seems strange to have this 'deadzone' on the dial so I was wondering if
this is normal or some sort of glitch with the amp?
That is the same way my Laney LC15R is.
