Epi valve Jr. or Blackheat? 5w or 15? Both? Lovepedal Plexi 800 or

Hell, maybe both. If I dump my TSL 122, which I am less and less
inclined to do, and get a blackheart and/or a epi valve jr.... I
coudn't live without, perhaps, one or both of those pedals.
At least I'm solid on the basics - I've really fallen in love with my
setup - I couldn't be happier. Every time I look at my guitar, I think
fuck - I made it in life. But on the pedals and low-watt amp front I'm
still looking, I guess.
One thing I would like to note however. My Pod X3 collects dust. Why?
Because it's not really designed to be played in front of an amp. It's
designed to be played in front of a computer. Go figure? But that's
why I can't bring myself to sell it. Although I should and just buy a
decent mic and get it friggen over with. Live and learn.

Straight up, I prefer the sound of the Blackheart. But stick a
Fulltone OCD in front of a VJ, and it really transforms the amp, IMO.

Just saw this on the web: http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1869636
"I sprung for the 5w VJ head a few months back, as I'm not playing out
anymore. It's great for home stuff -- self jamming, recording, etc. If
I known the Blackheart was coming out, I would have grabbed it
instead. The 5w Blackheart is the successor to the Valve Junior. It
was designed by the same guy and built in the same factory, so nearly
everything that applies to the VJ applies to the 5w Blackheart."
