Had a little gas today so ordered some picks from MF. I've been using thoseI did an Albert Lee country guitar book/CD that was pretty good. I
metal ones I really like them . Anyway while I was net shopping I bought a
Hal Leonard book Eric Clapton Unplugged. It's a book/CD combo, but it might
help with my acoustic playing . Has anyone ever tried a book/CD combo? When
I started playing guitar I had a album play along with the Ventures it had a
book to show you the notes then you just played along with it. I still
remember Walk don't Run and most likely still have the album, you no in the
big boxes of records you can't part with.
learned by listening to records and still learn most stuff that way.
I've never really liked tab except to show position and mode because it
doesn't show phrasing very well and half the time it's wrong. But Lee
plays so darn fast it's hard to figure out what he's doing, so having
both was really useful especially for the right hand.
