Oh I think they're all crazy. I was accosted once in Adelaide when I was young and taken in to their rooms. They "offered" to test me and they were showing me films n stuff. Heaps of propaganda. Yeah that was fun. I think I was in there for 4 hours before they kicked me out. They were getting very vocal toward me (read: shouting in my face) and good ol me was still taking them on. Hell, I had time to waste and watching them trying to break my spirit was just hillarious. It got so bad that they brought in the heavies.

It was pretty full on. To this day I still don't know what they "actually" stand for despite my constantly asking the question. I hear Tom Cruise say crap like "lets clean this place up" and yet I never actually see them doing anything. Oh yes I'm aware they have a presence at disaster sites etc but it's all bullshit. Hence why I posed the question on what people thought of the "religion" itself. I didn't want to tread on anyones toes in case they were affiliated with them. I mean, I really don't care what religion (or other) people sign up to so long as its their business and that they're happy with it. I just really want to know what they're about. Can someone give me that answer?

Well, they do have this thing about certain groups of people....
Maybe they thought you needed curing of your preference for comfortable shoes.

I would be the last person on earth to throw garbage on someones faith, but I don't like being manipulated into believing something that I damn well don't think exist.
