False.

I have 3 GK's ( One on a G-400, one on a Magic Dragon LP,
one on a Strat ) and they were all extremely easy to install and
setup. I use GR-20 with them, which has a very accurate tuning adjustments. It's an excellent setup and brings allot to music
creation.
