Oops. Another cynic. The guy has 163 glowingly positive feedbacks and
a reasonably detailed and sensible history behind the guitar
including being the original owner's son. What more can you want?

If I was considering buying it, I would take a ride to see it first,
though, since it's not too far away for me. But my bet is it's the
real thing.

Yeah, I wondered if he'll show it to prospective bidders. I'm not gonna bid
.... no surprise there ... but if I was, I'm close enough that I'd go look.
That said, the pics are not nearly good enough for an auction like this one.
Did you see the '64 Ampeg (he says Ampeq) amp he's got up as well? He wants
$5K for that one. No info in those pics either. I think he just doesn't
know what he's doing. He has, IMO, no real idea of the worth of what he
has, and not enough knowledge of what documentation is needed to sell the
stuff. The guitar? Maybe. The amp? Not a chance, IMO.
