You're 32 years old. These days a 32 year old male isnt even a man yet.
You've got 3 more years of childhood My father(1919) was a man at 18. My
age group (1957) I'd say manhood starting taking hold at 25 give or take a
year. If the baby boomers have done anything wrong then it was in taking it
too easy on the children and not making you fuckers grow up . I'm pretty
sure that anyone around my age on this group will tell you that our parents
used to kick the shit out of us and then kick us for shitting. What was
common practice in child rearing would now get you locked up in the State
Penitentiary. You dont know much about nothing though you think you do. The
baby boomers didnt sell out anyone. The American people did it to
themselves. You're as much to blame as anybody. I hope that you live to be
a ripe old age so that you can see what kind of a bind your generation gets
the world into. With any luck I'll be long dead and wont have to live
through it. I know several people that are right about your age. I like them
and in some cases you could call my feelings towards them brotherly love.
They are so fucked up in the head that they dont know whether to *** or go
blind though.

In 1833 Christian Fredrick Martin established the CF Martin Guitar
Company in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. It was one of the first guitar
companies in the US and from my research remains the oldest guitar
company in the US to still operate under the same ownership (the
great, great, great grandson of CF Martin serves at the head of the
company today).
This is the company responsible for taking the guitar from it's small
body (parlor style) roots to the most common mainstream acoustic
instrument. the Dreadnought, they invented it! The 000/OM 14 fret
guitar used by Clapton, John Mayer, etc... they invented that. The
only guitar company that can claim more innovation is Gibson and
Gibson was not founded until 1902 (some 60+ years after CF Martin) and
many think Gibson abandoned it's roots and started putting out
substandard product decades ago, CF Martin has maintained their
reputation up until this point. You can still go tour the original
factory, in fact today you can even order a limited edition 00
Stauffer CF Martin (named after Johan Stauffer the Austrian lutheir
who trained CF Martin around 1813) and based on the companies first
model guitar

Today we have many companies putting out great acoustic guitar
product. From Indie luthiers to quality big shops like Taylor (founded
in the 1970's btw), but none of them come close to CF Martin's
heritage.
If you're looking for a place to find the best example of American
craftsmanship and heritage CF Martin is the first company that comes
to mind. This is why it's so sad to me that they've begun putting
their name and quality techniques (trade secrets) into a line guitars
made in Mexico. First Fender shifted their "Standard Start" to Mexico
factories and now this.
I'm 32 years old. My grand dad refused to buy product made outside
this country when he could find an American counterpart. Sadly the
"baby boomer" generation has sold us out and destroyed our economy. To
their credit they didn't know what they were doing at the time and
generation X is only making the problem worse, but we need to stop and
think about these sort of things. While it may not seem like such a
big deal for these American Iconic companies to be outsourcing, it
really IS a big deal....
