JMP 2204 MKII as well.  So I had a unique opportunity to A/B them.
Strangely enough, I liked the 6550-powered JCM sounded better to my ears
than the EL34-powered JMP.  Go figure.  Anyway, my long quest for one of
those wonderful crunchy amps is over.  Haven't had a chance to try it
with my other guitars at home yet, but I'll be giving it a workout
tonight.
