I disagree about the "boring" part, but yeah, Beck would be much more
successful if he partnered with a good vocalist who could write
compelling songs. His group with Rod Stewart comes to mind. But his
goals are elsewhere. At least he's being true to himself, even if it
isn't popular.

And for people who *LIKE* guitar jams, he's written some doozies...
