So I get my PC hard wired to my cable modem...two weeks go by,
lightning-fast connection, as expected.
Fire up the PC tonight...no connection. Did the repair function, ran
an AV scan, spyware scan, shut down, booted up...nothing. Dead. PC's
functioning fine otherwise.
Network card dead? I wonder if I should lug another PC down there to
test that the ethernet connection is still intact, right?
WTF???
I could count the number of dead network cards I've seen in the last 10
years on one hand. Possible but not likely. Are the link lights on, on
the router and PC?
