With all of the recent posts about his Signature Strat...
I got a little curious.

It's never to late! :) Some folks in this NG seem to think the massive Rory
strat tone comes from nothing more than a piece of wood with some pups on
it. I played the thing and I am blown away with how it sounds. Just
incredible really and like nothing I've ever played before. I've always
listened to Rory and played his music in my own bands, but had to use every
kind of effect under the sun to try to get his tone. Then after all these
years, I walk into a guitar store, plug in the Rory-caster and without even
trying to, I sound like Rory. As soon as I strummed it, I hear him. What a
truly amazing instrument it is.
