Poor girl. You spend allot of money for a good guitar and amp but still hate the sound of them and your playing. You need to play until you like the sound of the raw guitar/amp/yourself then add a pedal or two. You're never going to get a good sound out of that collection of transistors, diodes and hum.The guitars sound degenerates in quality with every electrical component that it goes through.. Add up each resistor, jack, etc and you'll see that you're fighting a battle that you cant win. Its all a part of learning I guess but I'd say that you need ten more years experience.
That and good sound are two things that you cant buy.
Its obvious that you're not going to listen to what I have to say(I never listened to anybody so I cant expect you to) so do a web search for amps and effects placement.

I understand all that you are saying and am quite familiar with the concept. However, being in a tribute band makes you want to pay the best homage you can to the material you are playing. RHCP use lots of textures in their songs and reproduce them on stage with a massive array of pedals far greater than mine. Im only trying to give it the best I can with what I have. Anymore and I'm sure I would need an engineer on staff!

Theres some good stuff there that might lend a helping hand. You've got a couple of things going for you regardless of your sound. Your personality and physical beauty. Those things tend to strike a man stone deaf.

Meh, neither of those seem to be doing me any good of late so all I got is this here guitar...
