Squier. What ever it is.Age difference, different upbringing ,I dont know.
Probably some of each.
We disagree. Thats a good thing though.. It makes for a lively conversation.
Lookee here. I guess it just depends on . Do you want an amp that sounds
good while shredding or one that sounds good when playing music?. I've
owned a bunch of amps. Some with SS rectification and some nothing but SS.
They were all above average sounding amps I'd say. A person has to make do
with what they've got. But.. When I'm talking about the best sounding amp.
Its going to have a tube rectifier. The difference wouldnt be noticed much
or at all in a live band situation. If you record it or sit by yourself in
a quiet room and play then you'll notice a difference .

Traynor YCS50 (it is not the same as the YCV50 blue)
looks interesting - seems more manufacturers
are offering various preamp voicings and also offering
choice of class AB and lower wattage class A within the same amp (ala Mesa
Express series)

just keeping abreast of new stuff and gear out there.
i'll have to actually see if any stores have these yet
so I can plug in and check it out.
