I bought this Les Paul Deluxe from a garage sale for $100.00. As you can
see from these pictures it is missing two tuners, all 4 knobs, the knob
that screws on to the rhythm switch and has 2 chips in the paint on the
body. The serial number is stamped 80244557 and the picture doesn't show it
but it is stamped made in USA. I did some research on the internet and one
page stated the serials beginning with 80000000 are from 1973-1976. Is this
the case with this guitar? Also do you think it was worth $100.00? My wife
says it looks like a POS, but I thought it looked like a steal. Any input?
Anyone know a good place other than Ebay to get the missing hardware?
